Guillaume Donni, Mies (VD), Switzerland, contact@guillaumedonni.com. This policy describes what data this site processes, why, and your rights under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the GDPR.

Contact form

When you submit the form, the data you enter (name, email, message, indicative budget) is delivered to me by email through Resend (Resend, Inc., United States). It is used solely to answer your request and is never sold or used for advertising.

The email also states the page through which you arrived on the site and the name of the site that sent you there (for example google.com), so I know how clients find me. Both are noted during your visit, without any cookie or storage on your device. Your IP address is read in memory for at most 10 minutes to limit abusive submissions; it is neither kept nor shared.

These exchanges are kept for as long as needed to handle the request, and at most for the duration of any contractual relationship and the legal obligations that follow from it.

Call booking

Discovery calls are booked through Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., United States), from the calendar on this site or from the Cal.com window. The data you enter (name, email, chosen slot, optional notes) is sent to Cal.com together with the entry page and referring site of your visit, processed by Cal.com under its own privacy policy, and shared with me to hold the meeting.

Cal.com covers data transfers from Switzerland and the European Union through the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Chat assistant

The site offers a chat assistant. It is an artificial intelligence program, not a person: it answers from the content of this site, helps you describe your project and can book the discovery call.

It processes the messages you write, your name, email and phone number if you choose to give them, and the appointment you book through it. This data is used to answer your questions, to pass your request on to me so I can get back to you, and to book the call.

The assistant is provided by the Orizn platform (Orizn AI Ltd, British Columbia, Canada), whose database is hosted in the European Union, in Frankfurt. Conversations go through its conversation engine, in the United States; replies are written, then their quality assessed, by OpenAI artificial intelligence models, in the United States. Appointments are recorded with Cal.com (see Call booking). Transfers to the conversation engine are covered by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

The conversation engine keeps conversations for 90 days, its technical logs for 30 days, and visitor records with no time limit until they are deleted. Orizn does not keep the text of conversations: only a counting line with no content (90 days), the rating you leave on the exchange (90 days) and a quality assessment of the replies (200 days). The request you send me through the assistant (name, email, phone, message) is stored in my Orizn workspace for as long as that account exists. OpenAI may keep data for up to 30 days to fight abuse, and does not use it to train its models.

In your browser, the assistant keeps, in local storage rather than a cookie, a visitor and conversation identifier. It is created about 15 seconds after you arrive on a page, even if you do not use the assistant, so that it can reply without delay. It lets you resume the conversation if you come back within 3 hours, then recognises you; it is deleted after 30 days without activity. Once you write, the assistant also keeps the time of your last activity and a short summary of the current conversation (number of messages, start of its last message), deleted after 3 hours. For as long as the tab is open, it also keeps its configuration and a record of the invitations already shown. You can erase all of it by clearing this site’s data in your browser.

Analytics

This site uses Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights and Ahrefs Web Analytics, cookie-free measurement tools: no personally identifiable data is stored on your device and no advertising profile is built. Statistics are aggregated and anonymous.

Messages sent, calls booked and clicks on my email address and LinkedIn profile are counted the same way, in aggregate, with the page concerned and the origin of the visit (Google, ChatGPT, direct access or another site).

Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights are provided by the site’s host, Vercel Inc. (United States; see the Hosting section of the legal notice). Ahrefs Web Analytics is provided by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), which stores its data in the United States and covers transfers with the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

This site uses no tracking cookies. Audience measurement stores nothing on your device; the chat assistant only keeps there the identifier described under Chat assistant.

Your rights

Under the FADP and the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and object to the processing of data concerning you, as well as the right to portability where applicable.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@guillaumedonni.com: answered within 30 days at most. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your national supervisory authority.
